In November, my administration announced we would give every 80-year-old and over who is on pension credit a £100 Affordable Warmth Dividend to help with this winter's heating bills.
Feedback from 11,000 of Glasgow's most vulnerable residents has been hugely positive.
However, we have been asked to do more in recognition of the needs of so many more of our citizens who are faced with the harsh realities of fuel poverty.
So I am delighted that we have taken the decision to extend the payments to all residents who are 80 or over.
